Demonstrating Blow Molding System at NPE Show
Auburn, NY Currier Plastics will demonstrate their newly acquired blow molding machine at the 2015 NPE Show in Orlando, Florida in March. The custom molder will be sharing the Kautex booth where their newest machine, the KBB60D, will be on display.
Currier Plastics has partnered with Kautex Machine in their common goal to focus on sustainable solutions for the packaging market. Currier Plastics will have a technical presence in the Kautex booth and will be demonstrating the machine’s innovative capabilities which will include a 2 x 12 head configuration which will be used for the production of a 24ml bottles. The all-electric design plus quick change over’s between jobs are driving factors for Currier Plastics to invest $1.2MM in the Kautex platform. Besides these advantages other positive features include the machine’s overall compact size and the enhanced programming features for better parison control making higher cavitation possible. The machine platform also meets the hygiene requirements for cosmetic and food products, an industry that is heavily targeted by the custom molder.
