Currier Plastics Continues Its Growth Path

Auburn, NY Currier Plastics has added additional molding machines increasing their growing overall blow molding capacity.   Multiple Automa Electro Series extrusion blow molding machines have been added to one of the 4 blow molding manufacturing cells. The beneficial features of this equipment include in-process trimming capabilities (dome, moil, tail and handle punch out) and complete automated leak checking.

This new investment in blow molding equipment is driven by an increase in demand for bottles and containers ranging up to the one liter size and is a part of the custom molder’s planned growth in the Personal Care and Health and Beauty Aid markets.

“Currier Plastics offers extrusion blow Molding, injection stretch blow molding combined with high tonnage injection molding to provide a complete package that functions as designed. With our design for manufacturability and concurrent engineering, we get to market faster than other molders,” says Joel Sieber, New Product Development manager.

Currier Plastics is located in the heart of central New York and has been custom molding for a variety of industries such as plastic packaging, beauty and cosmetics, amenities, household consumables, electronic connectors and medical measuring devices since 1982.
